I just completed this whimsical outfit for face painter Auntie Stacey. What fun working with all those colors! We collaborated on the design. Stacey needed something comfortable, kid-friendly, cool cotton, cute and easy care. I also made her a 3/4 sleeve tunic for cooler days. Yay!
Some of you may not know that in addition to making mosaics I also sew. I’m in the process of creating a line of unique tote bags. Thank you to all who have contributed ideas and purchased some for road tests. You can find them at Penngrove Tuscany Galleria, and I usually have totes with me at the Farmer’s Market and other events. Just thought I’d share a photo. Each bag is unique, and sewn by yours truly. I’m also making pillows.
Marin County’s 4th of July fair boosts the usual rides, 4H critters and fireworks, but it also hosts a classy art gallery. I’m so happy that “Lucky Mokiki” won Honorable Mention.
Thank you judges!
